Amanda Julca

Amanda sees life alive with light, texture, and stories waiting to be told. As an undergrad, she fell in love with storytelling through composition and color in large-scale abstract painting, and studying fresco painting in Italy, deepened her understanding of how travel fuels creativity. Now based by the ocean in Miami, the rhythm of the waves mirrors her wonder for the world. Photography has long been my medium to capture not just what she sees, but what she feels—leading her to collaborate with inspiring brands across the globe and document people, places, and moments with a painter’s poetic sensibility. Over time, her work has naturally evolved to include motion direction—an extension of years spent directing still shoots.
